Hyundai Accent: Removal - Driver Airbag (DAB) Module and Clock 
Spring. Repair procedures - Airbag Module - Restraint (Depowered)Hyundai Accent: Removal

1.
Disconnect the battery negative cable and wait for at least three minutes before beginning work.
2.
Turn the steering wheel so that the front wheels can face straight ahead.
3.
Remove the driver airbag module mounting bolts (2EA).

4.
Remove the wiring fixing clip (C), and then release the connector locking pin to disconnect the driver airbag module connector (B).

The removed airbag module should be stored in a clean, dry place with the pad cover facing up.
5.
Remove the steering wheel and steering wheel column shroud. (Refer to the Steering System group - "Steering Column and Shaft")

6.
Disconnect the clock spring connector, then remove the clock spring.
