Replacement

Rear Seat Belt Replacement
[Sedan]
When installing the belt, make sure not to damaged the retractor.
1.
Remove the following items first.
A.
Rear seat assembly
(Refer to the BD group - "Rear Seat")
B.
Rear door scuff trim
(Refer to the BD group - "Interior Trim")
2.
Using a screwdriver or remover, remove the rear pillar trim (A).

3.
After loosening the mounting screws and clips, then remove the luggage partition trim (A).

4.
After loosening the mounting bolts, then remove the rear seat bracket (A).

5.
After loosening the mounting clip, then remove the rear wheelhousing trim (A).

6.
After loosening the mounting bolt, then remove the rear seat belt lower anchor (A).

Tightening torque :
39.2 ~ 53.9 N.m (4.0 ~ 5.5 kgf.m, 28.9 ~ 39.8 lb-ft)

7.
Disconnect the connector (A).

8.
Remove the rear package tray trim (A).

9.
After loosening the retractor (B) mounting bolt, then remove the rear seat belt (A).

Tightening torque :
39.2 ~ 53.9 N.m (4.0 ~ 5.5 kgf.m, 28.9 ~ 39.8 lb-ft)

10.
Installation is the reverse of removal.
Replace any damaged clips.
Rear Seat Belt Replacement
[5 Door]
When installing the belt, make sure not to damaged the retractor.
1.
Remove the rear seat.
(Refer to the BD group – “Rear Seat”)
2.
Remove the rear door scuff trim.

3.
Detach the mounting clips, remove the transverse trim (A).

4.
After loosening the mounting bolt, then remove the rear seat belt lower anchor (A).

Tightening torque :
39.2 ~ 53.9 N.m (4.0 ~ 5.5 kgf.m, 28.9 ~ 39.8 lb-ft)

5.
After loosening the mounting bolts, then remove the rear seat bracket (A).

6.
Using a screwdriver or remover, remove the lamp (A).
7.
Disconnect the connector (B).
8.
After loosening the mounting screws, then remove the luggage side trim (C).

9.
Remove the rear seat belt upper anchor cover (B).
10.
After loosening the mounting bolts, then remove the rear pillar trim (A).

11.
After loosening the retractor (B) mounting bolts, then remove the rear seat belt (A).

Tightening torque :
39.2 ~ 53.9 N.m (4.0 ~ 5.5 kgf.m, 28.9 ~ 39.8 lb-ft)

12.
Installation is the reverse of removal.
Replace any damage clips.
Make sure the connectors are plugged in properly.
Center Rear Seat Belt Replacement
When installing the belt, make sure not to damaged the retractor.
1.
Remove the following items first.
A.
Center seat belt lower anchor
(Refer to the BD group - "Rear Seat")
B.
Rear seat back assembly [LH]
(Refer to the BD group - "Rear Seat")
C.
Rear seat back cover [LH]
(Refer to the BD group - "Rear Seat")
2.
The rear center seat belt buckle (A) be removed after pushing the lock pin (B) as arrow direction.

3.
After loosening the mounting bolt, then remove the seat belt center upper anchor (A).

Tightening torque :
39.2~53.9 N.m (4.0~5.5 kgf.m, 28.9~39.8 lb-ft)

4.
After loosening the mounting nut, then remove the seat belt center retrator (A).

Tightening torque :
39.2~53.9 N.m (4.0~5.5 kgf.m, 28.9~39.8 lb-ft)

5.
Installation is the reverse of removal.
Rear Seat Belt Buckle Replacement
1.
Remove the rear seat.
(Refer to the BD group - "Rear Seat")
2.
Loosen the mounting bolt, and then remove the rear seat belt buckle (A).

Tightening torque :
39.2 ~ 53.9 N.m (4.0 ~ 5.5 kgf.m, 28.9 ~ 39.8 lb-ft)

Installation is the reverse of removal.
